2. Why is CONFLICT important?
Without conflict, there is no story: no TV
shows, movies, radio dramas, comics,
novels… and life would be boring.
The storyline happens due to the conflict.
Conflict is introduced in the rising action.
Change happens at the turning point.
Conflict is faced head-on during the climax.
Conflict begins to work itself out during the
falling action.
Conflict is resolved during the resolution.
This homework is worth 10 quizzes. Each quiz
is numbered.
4. MAN vs. SELF
The character(s) struggle happens in their own

13. New concepts learned
To be honest this lesson is not new for me,
but I believe that as you start a new
subject you must first do the baby steps
and refresh the previous topics that I have
learned in the past years. It’s nice to think
of something that you can connect with
the conflicts, a new activity that you can
correlate your life by being an example.

14. This reminds me of…
I can relate to the conflict of Man vs. Self, I am torn
between being an ordinary student & an excelling
one. Shyness holds me all the time especially
during recitations. Man vs. Man is also common for
me, I believe that you cannot please everybody.
There will always be a person who will belittle you
even if you do good. But for me it’s more
important that you should know yourself and good
things will follow as long as you do the right things.
Today, Filipinos have experienced many man-
made catastrophes that struck our nation (Man vs.
Nature) For me it is important that we are learning
from this experiences and we should stop ruining
our mother nature.

15. Usefulness in real situations
During times when I have piled homework
and deadlines. Sometimes I come to a
point of giving up, but in the end my clear
mind tops it all. That is finishing everything
and submitting on time!
