3. MOP Fertilizer
MOP: Muriate of Potassium (MOP, or Potash as generic):
Also known as Potassium Chloride (KCl).
 MOP is the main Potassium product and the predominant
source of K2O (potassium oxide )in fertilizers.
MOP is usually refined from sylvinite ore or extracted from
carnallitic brine.
MOP or potassium chloride, is the most commonly
employed potash fertilizer and can be used to farm a variety
of foods, particularly chloride-loving vegetables such as sugar
beets, corn, celery and Swiss chard.
