 Introduction
 DEVICE : Internet of thing modules Tts self analyzed performance and machine
observation makes it unique then other systems . It provides not only controls but also
self analyzed data result by which you can increase productivity and efficiency.
 CLOUD: We managed sensor data to a cloud server . There we showed them on chart
based on time reading data . So we can manage our machines and take proper steps .
 CONTROLS: With this system you can easily control devices . Not only from computer
but also mobile , smart watch ,tv ,tab end so many smart devices .

 Motivation
 A few month ago a huge fire
broke out in A k khan
chattogram .Those fire
occurred from electricity . If
we ignore the service fault
there still left some reason’s
which alert us a lot . One of
them are power observation .
 Our factories are not widely
concern about the machine
performance and power flow .
They only focused on
productivity . For this reason
we tried to make a solution
which can reduce this
problems.

 Previous work

 Due to the progression of wireless technology, there are a few different advancements were
presented, for example, RFID, ZIGBEE, Bluetooth, GSM and Wi-Fi
 Previous research on industrial automation system was GSM and Bluetooth based
automation system. Besides these problems they have the distance issue.
 Limitations of automation like storage and operation on Arduino and PLC based system
were noticed on different criteria .
 Objectives
 The project aim is to implement an IOT based industrial automation observation
system.
 This project deals with four most important data monitoring .They are power
monitoring, Dc gear motor controlling, product counting, overall system monitoring
using raspberry pi’s camera.
 We can monitor the overall condition of industry through website because all data that
the system monitored will be directly uploaded to webserver which can also be
accessible through smartphones , tabs and other smart devices.

 Methodology:
 Operation:
Power Section: From power sensor INA219 we counts voltage and current and for temperature
sensing we uses DS18B20 sensor . Those data automatically updates on web server.
Product counting: We uses lager and LDR module for product counting and this value will
update on server with an interval of time .
Control section: We managed to control only dc gear motor and the cooing fan of the device .
For this we uses CAYENNE.
Monitoring: For monitoring we uses raspberry pi camera module . By this we can live monitor
the industry from anywhere in the world.

 Cost analysis:
For creating this project it takes
around 20k Bangladeshi taka but in
case of industrial implementation it
will need around one lakh Bangladeshi
taka .So here we have given some real
time costings data based on product
and softwares .
 Costing in arena of insustry:
Software costing: Around 45k
Labour cost: Around 20k
Wiring: Around 20k ( varies with
system)
Power unit: Around 20k ( multiple
unit of this system)

Advantages:
 Our system is user friendly . Anyone
can manage their system with our
device.
 Anyone can live monitor their system
from web server . So maybe some
people will also want to implement it
in their house also.
 Using its analysis we can create
Artificial intelligence with it .
 Advantages & Application:

 Industrial monitoring.
 Control of system over the
internet.
 Securing industrial environment.

 Limitations and Future work
 Limitation:
1. Counter we used in this project deals with single count every time .
2. Image or video processed through camera is approximate 3 second late .
3. We used CANEYEEN software for controlling purpose which has internet connectivity problem.
4. Cooling fan we used operated by manual process . We didn’t keep auto turn on feature .
 Future Improvement:
1. In future it will be possible to use artificial intelligence in display system.
2. In future it will be possible to add alternative source in voltage /current measuring system

 Conclusion
 An effective way of wireless communication by using open shift web free
server and wifi module.
 Data can be monitored at remote locations with secured manner.
 The aim was to produce an affordable, user friendly system which can insure
safety in working environment.
 The project’s aims have been successfully fulfilled with the implementation
of the prototype.

  • 3.  Introduction  DEVICE : Internet of thing modules Tts self analyzed performance and machine observation makes it unique then other systems . It provides not only controls but also self analyzed data result by which you can increase productivity and efficiency.  CLOUD: We managed sensor data to a cloud server . There we showed them on chart based on time reading data . So we can manage our machines and take proper steps .  CONTROLS: With this system you can easily control devices .   • 4.  Motivation  A few month ago a huge fire broke out in A k khan chattogram .Those fire occurred from electricity . If we ignore the service fault there still left some reason’s which alert us a lot . One of them are power observation .  Our factories are not widely concern about the machine performance and power flow . They only focused on productivity .   • 5.  Previous work Department of Electrical & Electronic Engineering (EEE), IIUC 5  Due to the progression of wireless technology, there are a few different advancements were presented, for example, RFID, ZIGBEE, Bluetooth, GSM and Wi-Fi  Previous research on industrial automation system was GSM and Bluetooth based automation system. Besides these problems they have the distance issue.  Limitations of automation like storage and operation on Arduino and PLC based system were noticed on different criteria .
  • 6.  Objectives  The project aim is to implement an IOT based industrial automation observation system.  This project deals with four most important data monitoring .They are power monitoring, Dc gear motor controlling, product counting, overall system monitoring using raspberry pi’s camera.  We can monitor the overall condition of industry through website because all data that the system monitored will be directly uploaded to webserver which can also be accessible through smartphones , tabs and other smart devices.   • 8.  Methodology:  Operation: Power Section: From power sensor INA219 we counts voltage and current and for temperature sensing we uses DS18B20 sensor . Those data automatically updates on web server. Product counting: We uses lager and LDR module for product counting and this value will update on server with an interval of time . Control section: We managed to control only dc gear motor and the cooing fan of the device . For this we uses CAYENNE. Monitoring: For monitoring we uses raspberry pi camera module .   • 17.  Cost analysis: For creating this project it takes around 20k Bangladeshi taka but in case of industrial implementation it will need around one lakh Bangladeshi taka .So here we have given some real time costings data based on product and softwares .  Costing in arena of insustry: Software costing: Around 45k Labour cost: Around 20k Wiring: Around 20k ( varies with system) Power unit: Around 20k ( multiple unit of this system) Electronic, Communication and Embedded System Research Group (ECES) 17
  • 18. Advantages:  Our system is user friendly . Anyone can manage their system with our device.  Anyone can live monitor their system from web server . So maybe some people will also want to implement it in their house also.  Using its analysis we can create Artificial intelligence with it .  Advantages & Application: Application:  Industrial monitoring.  Control of system over the internet.  Securing industrial environment.   • 19.  Limitations and Future work  Limitation: 1. Counter we used in this project deals with single count every time . 2. Image or video processed through camera is approximate 3 second late . 3. We used CANEYEEN software for controlling purpose which has internet connectivity problem. 4. Cooling fan we used operated by manual process . We didn’t keep auto turn on feature .  Future Improvement: 1. In future it will be possible to use artificial intelligence in display system. 2. Department of Electrical & Electronic Engineering (EEE), IIUC 20  Conclusion  An effective way of wireless communication by using open shift web free server and wifi module.  Data can be monitored at remote locations with secured manner.  The aim was to produce an affordable, user friendly system which can insure safety in working environment.  The project’s aims have been successfully fulfilled with the implementation of the prototype.
