II. Maintenance
A. Buy recycled or sustainable products for example oil, windshield wipers,
fluorescent tube lights, radial tires, toilet paper, sustainable cleaning
supplies, recycled material for carpets or lithium batteries.
B. Compost for garden
C. Recycle oil, tires, metal and batteries etc.
D. When replacing parts use cost effective measures when purchasing for
example decrease water low flush toilets use a water dam and water
saving shower nozzles.
E. Car tune-ups and proper tire inflation save on gas costs
F. Annual heating system and air condition system checked by mechanical
engineer can lower heating and cooling costs.
G. Clean filters regularly and adjust fans to proper speed lower costs of
energy bills.
H. Other measures to be sustainable

A. Buy recycled or sustainable items pens, pencils, staplers, tape, rulers,
pads, envelopes, whiteout, notebooks, scissors, office folders, and
copier paper.
B. Cost effective measures that are sustainable for example recycle ink
cartridges, recycle paper and plastic bottles.
C. Other sustainable measures
IV. Nursing
A. Purchase recycle products such as copier paper or pens
B. Recycle products that are not bio hazardous
C. Other measures that are sustainable
V. Residential staff
A. Purchase recycled products or sustainable products such as cleaning
supplies, detergent, notepads, binders, pens, pencils, and tape.
B. Recycle items such as clothes, residents used papers and books
C. Teach residents to be more sustainable in product use whether paper,
detergent, cups or pens.
VI. Student sustainability survey for conducted for each department
A. Does your department recycle?
B. What does it recycle?
C. How much of each item is recycled example 10%, 25%, 50% or 100%?
D. Are recycled or sustainable materials purchased?
E. How can recycling or sustainability be improved in each department?
F. Please indicate how your department is sustainable; for example, use
less water, conserve energy, recycle paper or plastic, compost materials
for garden etc.
