2. Action is a tool in Photoshop that automates processes for
you with one click
It records any changes you make to an image then saves
them for you to apply to other images
It’s useful if you find yourself repeating the same processes a
lot or you are making the same edits to images in Photoshop
They are helpful when you need to do a job within a short
time period as they greatly speed up the process of editing
images
3. Click on Window > Actions to bring up the
actions panel or press alt + F9
Then press create new action
4. Name the action and
press record
Now make some
changes to the image
Whenever you make a change
the step will appear here
5. Press stop when you have
completed all the steps
Now if you want to change the saturation of any image all you have to
do is click play on that action

7. I recorded more actions so I
could apply adjustments to
other images.

9. From the actions I was able to create this without having to go to
the adjustments menu.This sped up the process which is the
point of the actions tool
10. There are free actions you can download for more advanced effects and
more advanced processes
11. Actions can be useful in work because if you
are doing a job within a small time period
actions can speed that job up
Actions are good for saving a style that you
like or a customer likes so you can apply them
to other jobs
