Woking Additional Stabling and Berthing – Assistant Project Manager – Provided support to the
project manager in delivering a multidisciplinary project. Responsible for chairing progress meetings,
the document control of design documents and drawings and the coordination of submittals to client.
Crossrail C828 Ilford Yard - Rail Field Engineer – Seconded to Crossrail to oversee the delivery of
ten new sidings for the Crossrail rolling stock as well as enabling works of a new paintshop and 2
workshops at the Ilford Depot. Stakeholders for the project include Network Rail, Bombardier
Transportation, and Abellio Greater Anglia. Role responsibilities include supporting Crossrail on the
technical oversight and quality assurance of the construction activities for the railway and civil works.
Reviewed technical submittals such as method statements and work package plans, monitored work’s
compliance with environmental and health & safety requirements, monitored the construction activities
to ensure that appropriate processes were duly identified and correctly implemented per the client’s
requirements and the applicable legislation.

and engage more efficiently on a collaborative basis. Personally responsible for coordinating
responses to requests for information (RFIs), field change documents (FCDs) and non-compliance
reports (NCRs) by liaising with the technical teams within the Designers, Clients, and Stakeholders.
Additionally, gave commercial support to the management of compensation events providing
technical knowledge and context to these decisions.
Track Gap Analysis, Docklands Light Railway (DLR) – Review of current standards from multiple
organisations including DLR, Network Rail and London Underground to identify contradictions and
gaps within the DLR track related standards. Required to have full understanding of the content of
standards reviewed.
Wear Tolerance Study, DLR– Technical study assessing the operational and safety impacts of
increasing DLR’s wear tolerance, supported by Eurocode fatigue calculations and flangeway
clearance analysis.
Rail Deflection Study within Expansion Switch, DLR – Technical desk study assessing the
maximum deflections of rail between baseplates and the difference between new and poorly
maintained expansion switches.
Glasgow Subway Renewal Scheme, Strathclyde Partnership for Transport – Provided CAD
support to the creation of plan and profile drawings for the Glasgow Subway. Due to the unique
(1220mm) track gauge carried out an assessment to determine check-rail flangeway gaps.
Northern Line Extension Requirements – Provided support to the systems engineering and
assurance team with the apportionment of requirements for the Northern Line Extension (NLE)
project. Developed skills in using IBM’s DOORS software package to import individual discipline
requirements. Controlled the data input to ensure data interfaces were appropriately addressed and
correctly represented and identified.
Thameslink Route Clearance Assessment – Member of the gauging team involved in the gauging
analysis of the 800 miles of track to be used by the new Thameslink class 700 trains. Responsible for
using ClearRoute 2 to determine the passing and structure clearance of the train kinematic envelope.
Coordinated with train operating companies to obtain survey data and managed the initial submission
to the National Gauging Engineer across four distinct work-streams. Prepared tamping designs and
platform coper cut-back schedules to be implemented by Maintenance Delivery Units, Works Delivery,
and external contractors. Provided technical support and engineering supervision to physical works
on site such as tamping, stoneblowing and minor civils works.
