The IT department is implementing proactive strategies to transform reactive services and reduce costs through global hardware supply strategies. This has resulted in cost savings from desktop, laptop, and printer refreshes as well as migrating mobile phone providers. Automated processes have also been implemented since 2012, such as new infrastructure, security upgrades, and refreshing old machines, which have improved systems while reducing costs.

Desktop refresh £2,500 saved: (42 desktops)
Laptop Refresh £11,250: saved (35 laptops)
East Asia office refresh £3,750 saved: (cad machines and laptops)
Printer contract renewal: 33 printers (2 sites) current costs £17,000 year over 4 years in
rental for 11 printers (in progress).
Mobile Phone Provider Migration: (59 users) saving £12,000 per year
