Masterclock, Inc. is a U.S. manufacturer of time synchronization systems. We cater to the needs of the world's most demanding time-sensitive users. Our catalog offers a variety of digital and analog clocks, time and frequency standards, and devices to synchronize computers, networks and many other systems where accurate time is required. Masterclock adheres to open worldwide standards for the distribution of time and date information (NTP, IRIG-B, SMPTE and EBU time codes). In order to maintain and control the quality of every Masterclock device, we engineer, design and build everything in St. Charles, MO, USA.

Quality and Value
4. GPS Reference
• The Global Positioning System (GPS) is a U.S. space-
based global navigation satellite system. It provides
reliable positioning, navigation, and timing services to
worldwide users on a continuous basis in all weather,
day and night, anywhere on or near the Planet Earth.
• Masterclock devices use the timing information
available from GPS system signals to provide the
most accurate time for synchronization purposes.
4
Accurate time begins with GPS.
5. Time Code (SMPTE/IRIG)
• Time code is a low power audio signal similar to the signal
of a modem that contains time and date information.
• Signal can be transmitted over inexpensive coaxial cable
and wiring such as telephone pairs.
• With the proper distribution amplifiers, time code can be
sent over long distances and connected in parallel to
hundreds of clocks and other devices.
5
Provides reliable distribution of time and date.
6. Network Time Protocol (NTP)
• NTP is an open standard Internet protocol that utilizes standard
Ethernet wiring to transfer time and date information.
• Configure the clocks from any computer on the network with
Masterclock’s proprietary WinDiscovery software.
• Source can be either a local time server or an offsite reference,
such as GPS or Time Code.
• NTP clocks can utilize Power over Ethernet (PoE).
6
Our most versatile form of timing distribution.
7. Power over Ethernet (PoE)
• PoE clocks receive power and time reference data from 1 cable,
saving installation costs.
• Signal can be transmitted over existing LAN and WAN wired
networks and over various wireless system.
• Power several PoE clocks and devices from a single PoE switch
instead of dedicated power supplies.
7
One cable. Saves time and costs.
9. Digital Displays
• All digital displays use seven-segment LEDs
• Compared to LCDs, LEDs offer superior viewing angles,
significantly better shock and vibration performance and
a life that is 100’s of times longer.
• Display colors available in red, blue, green, amber,
or white.
• Adjustable brightness levels.
• Solid steel case with powder coat finish that resists
corrosion.
• Battery-backed real time clock chip in case of loss
of time reference or power.
9
High visibility. Sleek design.

combination.
• Adjustable brightness levels.
• Visibility: 100 feet (30 meters)
12
13. NTP100 Series
• The NTP100 Series of time servers generate accurate
time and date signals for NTP clocks and your network.
• Can synchronize to atomic clock in GPS satellites, a
time code source, or generate time via an internal
crystal oscillator.
• Maintain timing accuracy when GPS or Time Code
signal is lost with an internal battery-backed real-time
clock chip.
• Optional high-stability oscillators provide holdover
stability to 1 ppb/day (±250ms/year)

NTP Time Servers
14. GMR Series
• One GMR Series master clock device can support and synchronize hundreds
of thousands of NTP clocks.
• Can read NMEA and NENA messages to set its system time, or time can be
set manually, and it can generate NMEA, NENA or Truetime/Kinemetrics.
• Optional outputs include Time Code (SMPTE, IRIG-A, B and E), PPO
(Programmable Pulse Output), PPS (pulse-per-second), 10 MHz sine wave,
and IEEE 1588 Precise Time Protocol.

15. PCI and PCIe Cards
• Provides millisecond accuracy to Windows
applications.
• Reference GPS, Time Code, or generate
time via an internal crystal oscillator.
• PCI available for all card sizes, full- and half-
height brackets available.
• High-stability oscillator options increase
holdover accuracy to up to ±250ms/year.

16. Testimonials
16
Extensive renovations at Estádio do Maracanã
in Rio De Janeiro for the 2014 World Cup
included installation of Masterclock digital
clocks throughout the stadium.
The Scoreboard Operations Department of the
Florida Marlins and Miami Dolphins recently
installed a number of Masterclock NTP clocks in
their stadium operations. Shown below is a Blue
NTD86 that displays both NTP and game time
from the scoring systems.
