ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
For eight years I served as a committee member of the C.I.P.H.E.
Sussex branch. During this time I had organized C.P.D. evenings
for the members in Sussex, and still regularly attended C.P.D
meetings.
I then transferred from the Sussex branch to the
Portsmouth and Southampton branch (now the Hampshire
Branch). I am the secretary and treasurer of the branch.
I also arranged the C.P.D. events for the branch.
I have now stood down from the committee and transferred back
to the Sussex branch.
I also sit on the Worshipful Company of Plumbers steering
committee which facilitates demonstrations, exhibits and
materials in the Weald & Downland Open Air Museum’s Court
Barn at Singleton.
I demonstrate Lead work skills for several days a year in the
Court Barn at the Weald and Downland Museum at Singleton
West Sussex.
I volunteer at The Aldingbourne centre on a regular basis helping
to maintain the facilities and helping with some of the clients
who have various handicaps both physical and mental.

8. ADDITIONAL SKILLS
Developed administration, management and basic accounting
skills acquired and developed through nineteen years of self
employment.
Good public relations, sales and people management skills.
Supervising and training apprentices over many years gave me
an insight of my ability to pass on knowledge and experience
to others. This has helped me to develop my lecturing and
student mentoring skills.
