Marsya Labde created a fashion editorial for her final thesis called "When The Past is Present," inspired by Mexican painter Frida Kahlo. She photographed a model in Procida, Italy, known for its colorful architecture, and collaborated with actress Erika Russo. Labde has since worked as a fashion stylist for brands and magazines, including assisting with a Cruciani campaign and styling several editorials and campaigns for Cosmopolitan magazine in Indonesia.

2. For my final thesis in Domus Academy, I decided to make Celebrity Fashion Editorial,
with “When The Past is Present” as the title of the editorial. I have chosen this be-
cause, fashion styling and do an editorial shooting has been part of my life for the
past 4 years and for sure I would like to share my ideas. At that time I was inspired
by the famous Mexican painter, Frida Kahlo, with her bold unique style. So this is my
idea of the modern Frida Kahlo!

3. Published in Italian online magazine called Il Giornale Off,
(www.ilgiornaleoff.ilgiornale.it) for their July 2015 edition.

4. I chose Procida, Naples, to be the location for the photo shoot
because Procida are also known as one of the most colorful
place in the world. With amazing bold colors and beautiful
historical places, I found it a perfect combination to make my
concept stronger.
For the model I collaborate with celebrity who famous both in Ecuador
and Rome. She is an actress, born in Quito-Ecuador, who currently
resides in Rome, Italy. Her name is Erika Russo and she is a rising star
in multiple web series produced by Enchufe.tv, which you can find it on
YouTube.
