systems). Maintainpayratesanddeductions.
PreparesdatarequestedbyPDRMA for WorkersCompensationAudit.
Preparesandprocesses biweeklypayroll;includingverificationof time/ratesinattendance system, base
pay,manual entries,printingof payroll anddeductionchecks,processingof directdeposit,printingand
filingof reports. Reconcile andprintannual W2s. Processmonthly IMRFfiling. Processmonthly/annual
leave accruals. Create monthly/quarterlyIDESwage report.CreatesNew Hire reportmonthly.
Maintainleave balancesforfirstyearfornew full-time employees.Monitorleave balancesfor
forfeitures.Provide leave balance reportstodepartmentheadsmonthly.
Schedulesinterviewsduringrecruitmentprocess
Assistsinadvertisingjobopeningsonappropriate jobboards
ServesasNotaryfor Agency.
Answersinquiriesfromemployees.
Assistsinannual audit.
Reportsall new employeestothe properauthorities. Enterall new hiresinSSA verificationprogram,
notifyingHRof any discrepancies.
Filesall appropriate paperwork.
Assistsinpreparationof reportsandspecial reportsasassigned.
Performsthe jobsafelyandincompliance withParkDistrictpolicies,procedures,workandsafetyrules.
Performsspecial projectsorotherdutiesasassigned.
Attendsall meetingswhenappropriate.
Supportsandexhibitsthe organizational valuesof respect,communication,integrity,innovation,
recognitionandappreciation,continuouslearning,fun,empowermentandpeople.
Must supportand demonstrate organizational valuesandqualitystandardsof the WheelingPark
District.
Analyzes,preparesandinputspayroll data.Ensurescompliance withall applicable state andfederal
wage hour laws.
Provide reportsasneededtouppermanagement.
Continueseducationonnewpayroll-relatedissues,lawsandprocedures.
Skillfullyusesthe computer,printer,calculator,fax machineandtypewriter.
PerformsworkpermitauditsandI-9audits.
Enrollsandterminatesall part-time IMRFemployeesfromIMRFsystem.
Handlesall telephone andwritteninquiriesconcerningpart-time employmentverification.
Preparesanddistributesinformationtostaff concerningchangesinpayroll laws,requirements,and
procedure.
Trainsand familiarizesall supervisorystaff withpayrollproceduresandTimeproTime-KeepingSystem.
Performa detail reviewof payroll andtimecardsforaccuracyand assistsupervisorswith correcting
errorsand ensuringthatpayroll isprocessedwithinPersonnelPoliciesandapplicablelawsand
regulations.
Setup all newand rehiresinPayroll andTimeProincludingwage rates,jobcodes,time clocks,etc.
MaintainTimeProandPayroll systemsincludingall payrules,wage rates,accruals,jobcodes,and
troubleshootingwithTimePro/Incode tosolve anysoftware issues.
Serve asthe mainpointof contact for employeesandsupervisorsregardingall payroll questions,
includingsupportandtrainingof newsupervisorsandemployeesonpayroll software andprocedures.
Provide employeeverificationof currentandpastemployees.
Conductauditsof payroll systemstoensure automaticpayrulesare workingasintendedandwithin
personnel policies.
Maintain,review,andauditmonthlyaccrualsinTimePro.
AssistHumanResourcesina varietyof tasksto include:maintenance of new hire folders,form
revision/development,trackingtraining,copyinganddistributionof communications.
