• 1. What would be some of the best evidence against you, that
you were guilty of following Jesus Christ?
• 2. Would there be conclusive evidence to convict you of faith in
Jesus Christ?
• 3. Do you display the beautiful attitudes described by Jesus in
His Sermon on the Mount?
• 4. Do you reflect the lifestyle of love the Apostle Paul describes
in 1 Corinthians 13?
• 5. What about the fruits of the Spirit he describes in Galatians
5:22-26?
• 6. Do you hate sin and cling to the truth about Jesus (Romans

• 1. Are you disowning (refusing to make connection with)
Jesus like Peter? How so?
• 2. Do you complain about the culture here?
• 3. Are you ever impatient with anyone?
• 4. Do you play the comparison game?
• 5. What do you need to weep over?
• 6. Do others know you’re a Christian? Do you stand for
truth and pursue holiness? Are you looking to the cross
and trusting in Jesus’ finished work?
• 7. Keep calm and repent. Bring glory to God.
5. III. Jesus Delivered to Pilate
(Mark 15:1-5)
• The Jewish leaders accuse Jesus of…
• 1. Blasphemy – Claiming to be God
• 2. Misleading the nation – causing riots all over the countryside
• 3. Forbidding tribute being given to Caesar
• 4. Claiming to be a king
• Jesus was delivered to Pilate in order to deliver us from…
• 1. the present evil age (Galatians 1:4)
• 2. the power of Satan’s reign (Colossians 1:13)
• 3. our sins (Romans 4:25)
• 4. the consequences of our sins which is ultimately an eternal
Hell facing the wrath to come (1 Thessalonians 1:10).
6. IV. Jesus Delivered to Be Crucified
(Mark 15:6-15)
• 1. Why wasn’t anyone shouting for Jesus?
• 2. Where were those who only days earlier were shouting,
“Hosanna! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!
Blessed is the coming kingdom of our father David! Hosanna in
the highest!” (Mark 10:9b-10)?
• 3. What will you shout when evil is being declared?
• 4. Will you hide in fear?
• 5. Will you follow the crowd?

been physically attacked by someone?
• 3. Have you ever been laughed at or treated as
worthless?

8. VI. Jesus’ Crucifixion
(Mark 15:21-41)
• 1. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive
us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1
John 1:9).
• 2. Have you confessed to murdering the Son of God?
• 3. Are you confessing your sins to God on a daily basis? If
not, why?
• 4. We have a good and merciful God who wants to have a
relationship with us and wants no one to perish (2 Peter
3:9).
• 5. Will you trust Him?
• 6. Will you live for Him?
• 7. He died for us so we could live for Him.
9. VII. Jesus’ Burial
(Mark 15:42-47)
• 1. Are you reborn like Joseph?
• 2. How are using your gifts to bless others?
• 3. Are you asking God to expand your opportunities
to do kingdom work?
• 4. Don’t waste your time worrying about what you
can’t do; do what you can to bring glory to Christ.
• 5. To Christ be the glory both now and forever!
10. The Gospel of Jesus Christ
• God created us in His image for His glory.
• Our sins separate us from fellowship with God.
• Sins cannot be removed by kind acts of service.
• Paying the price for sin, Jesus died and rose again.
• Everyone who trusts in Christ alone has eternal life.
• Life with Jesus starts now and lasts forever.
• Preach the gospel to others. Preach it to yourself.
