Mark Collantes is an audio engineer and music producer who has been pursuing music as a career since 2013. He obtained an Associate of Science degree in Recording Arts from The Los Angeles Film (& Recording) School and certifications in Pro Tools 10. He has interned at professional recording studios in Los Angeles and worked independently with several talents. Collantes is passionate about music and hopes to find opportunities to further his career.

1. Hello:
My name is Mark Collantes - an Audio Engineer/Music Producer with a wide-range of skill sets
of Music Production and Music Business.
I started my journey of music as a profession in 2013, only knowing that I love the creating
process of music production and that I needed to further expand my skill sets, knowledge, and
relations in order to accomplish the visions I have. I also realized that in order for me to be able to
do what I love for a living, I had to acquire and develop business skill sets that geared towards my
passions.
This led me to enrolling in the Recording Arts program of The Los Angeles Film (& Recording)
School where I've attained an Associate of Science degree in Recording Arts as an honorary
graduate. I also received a Certification for Pro Tools 10 and became a member of organizations
such as The Honors Society of the Entertainment Arts, AES, ASCAP, and Sound Exchange.
Aside from being a Full-Time Student, I've attended many Networking & Conference Events, and
Interned at a couple professional Recording Studios around Los Angeles where I've gotten to
meet and learn from inspiring Multi-Platinum Talents such as D'Mile and John Kercy (Medinah
Ent), Prince Chrishan and Kyle Christopher (Right Now), Mike Dupree, Young Juve/Travis
Kr8ts, The Stereotypes, and many others.
Independently, it's been a privilege and honor to be able to have served talents such as Chris
Flame, Shawty Redd, Playy, and CaliTroit among others.
My journey of pursuing music as a life-long career has been one wild ride for sure and although
it's just starting for me, I'm absolutely thankful for everything I've been able to experience thus
far. The more I invest myself into music, the more I see myself excelling more than anything else.
This is truly my pursuit of happiness. And if there's anything that I'd like you to take from this,
it's that "dreams are possible if you set your mind, heart, body, and soul to them."
