A recent graduate from Miami University of Ohio with a Bachelor degree in Environmental
Earth Sciences with a variety of skills including environmental field sampling, quantitative
research, sustainable practices, marketing, business management, and software application.
Several projects within my academic and internship experience have inspired me to pursue a
career in the environmental/sustainability sector. The skills I have obtained through my
internships and academic experience will undoubtedly transition to a career in this field.

Environmental/Sustainability Experience
Associate Scientific Project Leader- Actively managing various projects which consist of
certifying water treatment devices and chemicals to Environmental/Sustainable standards.
I coordinate the information from our lab while staying in contact with the customers.
Learning extensive knowledge of the water treatment and chemical industry has become
a daily part of my job.
Geology/Environmental Earth Science Major—Major core courses include:
Sedimentology, Oceanography, Paleontology, Sustainable Business, Geochemistry,
Biology, and Environmental Science. Major GPA of 3.01
Sustainability & Tropical Ecosystems of Costa Rica Research/Internship: Participated
in a three-week research study abroad/internship from December 28 – January 18, 2015
with Dr. Hays Cummins. Quantitative research was conducted where I was required to
work in teams and individually to
Green Oxford Club-Active member. This organization educates the general public on
common and easily used sustainable practices. Educated the public
VDCI Summer Internship- Under the supervision of senior scientist, I learned a variety
of methods to conduct and report environmental projects. Scientist Intern in charge of 20
sampling sites. Fieldwork included routinely managing data collection equipment and
taking detailed field notes using scientific method protocol. Experience handling
equipment and chemicals.
Marketing/Business Management Experience
Miami Adidas Team-Active as a marketing and social media associate. Promoted
Adidas gear specifically for Miami students, extensive creative thinking required to best
market these products.
Geneva Investment Management- Intern under the supervision of a senior analyst
working to identify and analyze potential investment companies. Learned how to
communicate with clients and act appropriately in a business environment. Member of on
campus asset management club gave me even more experience in financial sector.
Pi Kappa Alpha Rush Committee- As a member of this committee, I was a major part of
recruiting new members. Used social media to spread news on fraternity events.
Software Application
Jump!/StatCrunch- Both statistical software used in my schooling and research projects.
Used to create and find accurate statistical information.
2. Word, Power Point, Excel- Used profusely throughout academic experience as well as
internship experiences. Was a major part of all aspect my undergraduate degree and have
a high familiarity with using them to my advantage.
AQTESOLV- Computer application used to model geologic regions. Determines several
value including hydraulic conductivity and possible contamination routes. Experience in
conducting slug-tests.
