Operations and Production Project(s)- Class included two separate, individual projects that dealt with
organizing large-scale operations. The first was scheduling the filming of a movie, dealing with scouting
locations, balancing actors’ schedules and other factors. The second was operating a wine -rack
manufacturer; allocating resources and labor in the most efficient ways. Received high distinctions in both
compared to class. Outcome- Learned about long-term time management and how to use labor in a
time-effective fashion. For the wine rack project: learned about how to best allocate resources to keep
productivity high at marginally low costs.
