• Flowers in white to red clusters

3. Ecology
• Thicket forming shrubs in the wild
• Northeastern Oregon has abundant thickets
• Often associated with Chokecherry, Alders,
willows
• Ornamentals all over town
• Thickets provide excellent cover for birds
and small mammals
