CONSUMPTION AND COST
 Tertiary treatment is currently installed at theWWTP “Peñón del Cuervo" produces a total of 2,616 m3/day of
reclaimed water for irrigation of urban green areas (point 1.2 of RD 1620/2007) and irrigation of golf courses (Point
4.1. the RD 1620/2007).
 The reclaimed water perfectly fulfills the quality criteria according to Royal Decree 1620/2007 for applications
1.2.a) y 4.1.
 The technology used consists of physical-chemical sedimentation and filtration lamellar traveling bridge filter
cleaning continuously. Disinfection is accomplished with ultraviolet radiation and application of sodium hypochlorite.
