Introduction -
● Thorndike was an American psychologist also
known as the father of educational
psychology.
● He conduct a series of experiments on
learning with animals.
3. Continue -
● According to him learning takes place by trial
and errors.
● Learning is the results of association between
stimule and response.
● According to him when an individual faces
problem he/she try to find solutions and if it not
work he rejects and find another.
4. Experiment -
● The cat is placed in the box. Food is placed
outside where the cat can see it.
● After several attempts to get out, the cat
accidentally presses the lever.
● The door open and the cat eats.
● The cat is put back in the. It more quickly
presses the lever to get out.
