SUMMARY
Had 35 years of varied experience in the TEXTILE / SPINNING manufacturing industry in all
the departments like Production, Maintenance, Quality Assurance, Marketing,
Procurement (RM/Spares), General Administration. Can handle cotton, synthetic blends
both in grey and dyed / fancy yarns. Can handle any given technology like Rieter, Truetzler,
zinser , Lakshmi, Murata, Schlafhorst, Savio etc. Can do project planning, layout planning,
Erection and liasoning with external bodies for factory licences etc. Having good exposure in
Weaving in grey and yarn dyed. Wider width sheeting, Yarn dyed shirting etc in looms Picknol
and TOYOTA Airjet including warping and sizing. And also good exposure in Processing and
Garments. Handled Marketing and Sourcing activities and General liaison & Administrative
activities
EXPERIENCE PROFILE (Present to Beginning)
M/s Gowthami solvent oils P Ltd, Spinning Division which is having 3 units 57800 spindles
with state of art technology and 100% combed hosiery/ weaving, Compact and TFO yarns.
Working as Vice President. From sep 2012 onwards.
Work profile/Achievements: Total in charge of the Spinning Division working from Sep 2012
onwards. Achieved highest production of 145 GPS in 40s CW, 32s KW 183 GPS, 50s compact
combed 102 GPS (Packed month average) coupled with quality. UKG (40s Converted) from
5.4 to 4.6 and targeted to achieve 4.1. Utilization improved from 82% to 97.8%. by reducing
the Break downs and stabilizing the manpower by proper training and implementing good
systems. Assisting the Marketing activities including Exports and domestic.
M/s NSL Textiles Ltd, Guntur which is having 3 lack and odd spindles and 3780 rotors ( 5
locations) with state of art technology and 100% combed hosiery/ weaving, Compact, Slub
yarns etc. and backed by own Ginning facility. The group is fully integrated value chain in
Textiles right from seeds to Ready to wear Garments.
Worked as Group General Manager from Oct 2010 to Sep 2012
Work profile/Achievements: Total in charge of the Spinning Division and achieved the best
production of 86 GPS in 60s combed compact and in 80s combed compact 52 GPS coupled
with quality. Increased production by around 9%, improved Yarn realization by 4% and energy
saving 5% in the total group.

2. GINNING: Improved the Ginned cotton quality by improving the work methods and there by
realization in Ginning as well as spinning.
Weaving :Improved the first quality production up to 97 -98% by improving the yarn and
interacting with weaving team.
Processing: By constant interaction and improvements in yarn, Dyed yarn production is
improved by supplying the defect free soft yarn packages.
Garments : Involved in the planning of Lines for better Lay out and out put.
Marketing and Sourcing of Yarn: Established separate sourcing department and exported
aprox 20 - 30 Containers / month.
VRV textiles ltd, Guntur which is 16896 with state of art technology and 100% combed
hosiery/ weaving yarns.
Worked as Executive Director and co promoter.
Work profile/Achievements: executed the total project by planning, selection, bank follow up,
civil works, liaison works, erection etc from Dec 2005 to Sep 2010. Total responsibility
including Procurement, Production and Marketing.
Participated in overseas trade fares by establishing the stalls in Istanbul, TUKEY and Dhaka,
BANGLADESH apart from the DOMESTIC Market.
Sri Jayalakshmi Spinning Mills Ltd, Jayalakshmi group: I was asked to take charge as
Vice President (Head) of the unit as soon as I came to India on vacation from Nigeria as the
unit is suffering heavy losses, working capital erosion and many M/Cs were stopped for want
of spares.
I took it as a challenge and able to succeed to stop the losses with in a month and start all the
M/cs with in 6 months and reach a turnover of 300 lacks /month from 85 lakhs /month and
there by turned to GREEN, by well planned Purchase and Sales activities and by monitoring
the CASH FLOW.
Royal spinners / First Spinners PLC, Churchgate Group, Lagos, Nigeria: Which is ISO
9002 company certified by BVQI and SON having a capacity of 17135 Spindles in combed
cotton and 11232 spindles in P, P/V and engaged in manufacturing yarn of counts Ne 20 to 60
of Ring in both single & multi fold yarn and OE yarns.
Worked as Dy.GEN.MANAGER and reporting to Group Gen Manager from Aug 2001 to May
2004.
Work profile/Achievements: Achieved about 18% increase in Production.
Restarted A grade exports for better contribution.
Samrat Spinners Ltd, Satyam Computors Group: which is 25000 spindles with Dyeing plant
engaged in manufacturing of Synthetic blended yarn (Grey&Dyed) counts ranging from Ne 20
to 80 in single and multifold.
Worked as Dy.Gen.Manager (Co Ordination) reporting to Managing Director from March 2000
to July 2001.

3. material/General purchases, Implementing various marketing strategies including exports, co
ordination with Project under TUFS with financial institutions, Negotiated with the unions for
implementation of VRS, Improved the Production levels from 76% to 92%. Improved the
quality of yarn to the acceptable levels in international market.
Sri Jayalakshmi Spinning Mills Ltd, Jayalakshmi group: Which is an ISO 9002 company
certified by American Quality Assessors (AQA) and having EXPORT HOUSE recognition,
started in1994 with 24000 spindles and rapidly expanded to 28000 spindles out of which 8640
on synthetic blended yarn and the balance is 100% combed yarn, both single and multifold in
the range Ne 20 to 66.
Worked as Asst.Gen.Manager from Dec 94 to Feb 2000, and reporting to CEO.
Work Profile/Achievements: Overall incharge of the factory, Instrumental in importing of
State of art machinery like Truetzler cards, RSB draw frames, Autoconers, UT3, HVI, UTR3,
CMT3 etc from Japan, Switzerland and Germany and raw material (cotton) from Burkina Faso.
Management Representative of ISO 9002 System. Achieved ISO 9002 in 1996, Record time
erection and commissioning of 54 crore project with in a year. Converted the mill into 100%
combed and exportable product, Achieved Export House status in record time by exporting
quality yarns to countries like Japan, Italy, Korea, Taiwan. Mauritius etc. Implementation of
effective HRD culture.
Navya Spinning Mills Ltd: Which is having 1104 rotors of BDA 10 N and M1/2 and Rapier
Terry looms of Neova Pignone,Italy.
Worked as Mill Superintendent as overall incharge and reporting to Director (Technical) from
Sep 92 to Dec 94.
Work Profile/Achievements; Project implementation right from the procurement of land, plant
and machinery including civil construction, electrical installations. erection and commissioning
machinery. Involved in the public issue for equity of 900 lacs. Established sales Depo in Erode
and Sholapur. Assisting Purchases and sales.
Raghu Spg & Wvg Mills Ltd: Which is having 1008 rotors and 10000 spindles along with 30
nos of Lakshmi Ruti C type Terry looms.
Worked as Mill Superintendent as overall in charge and reporting to Managing Director from
Oct 88 to Aug 92.
Work Profile/Achievements: Project implementation including selection of site, Plant &
Machinery, supervision of civil, electrical works and commissioning of machinery and
commissioned in a record time of 9 months including civil works.
Expansion with 10000 spindles and 30 Terry looms of the plant with in a span of 1- year by the
internal profits and term loans. Established Sales depo’s in ERODE and SHOLAPUR.

Kakatiya Textiles Ltd.: Started with 8640 in 1984 and quickly expanded to 18000 with in 2
years with then latest G5/1 Ring Spinning system.
Worked as Asst.Spg.Master reporting to the Factory Manager from Jun 84 to Sep 88.

4. Priyadarshini Spinning Mills Ltd,- A unit (PSM Group): Which started with 50000 spindles
with cotton as well as synthetic blended yarns.
Worked as Asst.Spg.Master reporting to Spinning Master from Jul 83 to Jun 84
Responsible Production,Training and exports. Erection and commissioning of
Polyester/Viscose section in time.
Super Spinning Mills Ltd,- A unit (Former Premier Group): Which is a 60000 spindle unit
with cotton combed/ hosiery yarns ranging from Ne 40 to 90.
Worked as Shift Incharge reporting to Spinning Master from Jul 80 to July 83.
Responsible for the shift, daily MIS, Quality tests. Conducted Time and Motion studies to fix up
the work assignments, Active participant in technical developments.
