1. Requirement Analyses of BISP Data Center

Requirement Analyses of BISP data center shell, IT part and non IT part keeping in view
the present and future plan. Prepared the tender document as per PEPRA rules 2004
which includes:
IT Part: Blade servers, SAN (Storage area network), VTL (virtual tape library), Core
switches, Routers, Analyzers, NMS.
Non IT part: Power Generators, HVAC (hot aisle cold aisle containment), Modular UPS,
Earthing, Electricity provision from sprat grid stations, Security surveillance cameras
and environment monitoring system, Fire detection and suppression system, Installation
of biometric system.
Data Center Shell: Raised flooring ,Proclien Tiles, Glass partitioning, Fire proof paint,
Sprat NOC area for ten individuals, Anti rodent mechanism, Data center special anti
glare lights, Monitoring system in NOC area.
2. Deployment of Network at BISP Head Quarter Building F-Block Pak
Secritariate

Gather the information for analyzing the setup, then designed a network as per the
Department needs and as well as the latest market trends. Later on successfully
implement the Local Area Network on all three floors, auditorium, meeting rooms and
corridors including individual terminals in BISP Head Office Building with the

2. connectivity of WAN and VPNs with all the stakeholders like mostly known Banks of
Pakistan, NADRA. Successfully shifted the servers and other IT infrastructure from old
buildings to F-Block Pak secretariat Building with minimal down time.
3. Waseela e Haq initiative ceremonies
Members: Malik Faraz Ahmed, DBA, Zafar Ullah Awan, Khizir Farooq, Sheji Kazmi,
Chief Comm Officer, Secretary BISP, Chair Person BISP, Support Staff.
Successfully arrange IT setup of 40 Waseela e Haq initiative ceremonies in president
House Islamabad, governor houses in provinces and remote locations in all over
Pakistan inaugurated by the president of Pakistan and state minister of USA Hillary
Clinton.
4. Upgradation of Network at BISP Head Quarter Building F-Block Pak

Network Administrator at Benazir Income Support Programme
August 2010 - Present (4 years 6 months)
•In coordination with Director IT to plan, design, and coordinates the various
components of BISP network system.
•Establish methods and procedures for use of the network systems including hardware,
software, and communications devices.
•Develops hardware configuration plans for network systems.
•Coordinates and ensures the implementation of policies, procedures and systems
operations with support personnel.
•Evaluates and recommends network software and hardware for the BISP Secretariat

all renowned banks, for the smooth transition of data and synchronization of
applications for all stakeholders.
•Develop the Technical Specifications for I.T related hardware needs to procure for
BISP Head Office and Regional offices and also technically evaluate the quoted I.T
related hardware with comparison of developed specifications.

March 2006 - August 2010 (4 years 6 months)
Responsibilities include: Configure and Manage the ISA2006 Server, Active Directory,
User Management., and DHCP Servers, VPN with remote offices. Generate and
present report of the department for status meetings regarding the department issues,
