1. Malgorzata Minta
Current address: Lindego St. 26/72, 01-952 Warsaw
Ph.: +514 870 604
Dear Sirs,
My name is Malgorzata Minta and I am interested in work at your organization.
My application refers to my academic grounding, working experience and to my professional
aims. I have knowledge and practical experience in projects management. I graduated in sociology
and I’ve knowledge in social, public opinion, social communication and social marketing.
I was also attending the postgraduate studies: „European Union and Public Administration in
European Union” at Warsaw School of Economics. Since April 2005 to July 2006 I was working for
non-governmental organization The Association Ostrowian Center of Enterprise Support, where
mainly I created social projects and prepared applications for subsidies and UE funds, mostly within
European Social Fund. After 8 months of working as a volunteer and trainee at the association, I was
promoted to assistant coordinator of two projects. Coordinating projects, I dealt with coaching team
group, giving tasks to the personnel and monitoring results. I was responsible also for proper
promotion of current projects, spreading information about projects to public (descriptions and articles
sended to the media and published at Internet site of organization) and relevant institutions.
Since July 2006 till January 2007 I have been working on challenging “media &
communication” project (for EVS), located in small village Alcoutim, which suffers from problem of
desertification. I work for local newspaper and local radio about local development, promotion of North
Algarve, social responsible tourism and problem of desertification. Using the local media is one of the
way to fights against desertification of the region and develop knowledge about local potential in order
to bring and maintain people to live here. I prepared an article about Polish Musician Frideric Chopin
to the local newspaper.
In Portugal I communicated mostly using English language. I studied English in primary and
secondary school and at the university and also on private courses and lessons. I have B2 level
certificate of English knowledge and now I am preparing to take C1 level exam.
Currently I am an employee of a public institution, the Ministry of Family, Labour and Social
Policy in Poland, where my main tasks were: estimating application forms for European Social Fund
and checking expense reports within ESF through formal and eligible criteria and there is now being a
contact person in one of the project run directly thanks to subsidy form European Commission.
At the work I had to check effectiveness of projects and check results and amount of factors
(close to Key Performance Indicators idea) and put data in system KSI and PEFS. These applications
are specialized software to monitor results and implementing of projects.
Now As a monitoring and contact person in one project I use English at my work.
I am interested in work in your organisation, because is quite close to my professional
experience and I can use English in daily work.
2. I think that work in ngo in Poland, my volunteering in Portugal and my current work were
for me possibility to achieve good professional experience and very important social skills: well-time
organizing and flexibility in changeable environment, team work, to be open-minded, self-reliant. I
learn and get information quickly. I am reliable and proactive and always involved in what I do.
I would be grateful if you consider my application and your possibility to make use of my
abilities in your organization.
I may be contacted at the following telephone number: +514 870 604. I enclose my CV, where
you can find more details about my education and working experience.
Thank you in advance
Yours faithfully,
Malgorzata Minta
