Duties/Responsibilities:
 Knowledge in overall program designing, implementation including staff management
and development.
 Preparing training modules, designing and conducting training, workshop/seminars and
experience in monitoring and reporting.
 Conducting field research (FGD, In-depth Interview, and Survey) with farmers
(especially women), extension agents, market stake holders, Govt. officers and with
relevant bodies in the project location.
 Strengthen the ICT skills of farmers (men & women) and extension agents by providing
technical support.
 Conducting financial management, budget preparation for field level activity.
 Streamline field activities to meet both the Organizations objectives and partner
expectations.
 Experience in managing projects, procurement, reporting, visibility; external audits will
be an added advantage.
 Troubleshoot and work with the team to track project performance against set targets
 Troubleshoot mobile and ICT devices along with application when necessary
 Conducting ICT and application based training for extension agents and farmers
 Report regularly on progress in the field in terms of capabilities of farmers and extension
agents, challenges, motivation and commitment towards disseminating
 Organize meeting with local DAE officials and prepare ICT focused work plan
 Attend fortnightly meeting of SAAOs, UAO and AEO and provide technical support if
needed.
 Provide technical support to beneficiaries, especially women farmer.
 Coordinate and organize workshops in regional office in coordination with DAM.
 Make courtesy calls to relevant Govt. officials and local Govt. to introduce the USAID
Ag Extension Project.
 Organize orientation meetings, workshops, round tables for relevant stakeholders.
 Develop strong relationships with other projects and institutions who are working in the
area of Agriculture and ICT for development.
 Collect and coordinate with partners on district, Upazila and union profiles for targeted
areas.
 Having analytical abilities and good documentation skill.
 Map partner sites and project locations Monitor extension agents service delivery using
ICT tools.
 Coordinate field visits for various stakeholders and Organizations team.
 Provide overall programmatic support to Project Manager and Ag Extension Project team
 Other relevant duties assigned by the organization.
