Essential Ingredients
Tomatoes
Breads
Salt
Sugar
Onion
Olive Oil
: 6 – 7 (medium sized and ripe)
: 2 (Fresh)
: 1 teaspoon (depends on your taste)
: 1 – 2 teaspoons
: 1 (medium sized)
: 2 tablespoons
2. Garlic
: 4 cloves
Coriander Leaves : 2 sprigs
Parsley
: 2 sprigs
Water
: 5 cups
Butter
: 2 teaspoons
Preparation
1. To start with, chop the onions, tomatoes and slice the breads and keep it ready.
2. Now, take a pressure cooker and add tomatoes, garlic cloves, coriander leaves,
parsley and salt and stir it continuously.
3. Pour 5 cups of water into the mixture in the pressure cooker now and pressure cook it
for 3 – 4 whistles.
4. Take a strainer and get rid of the leaves and cloves from the mixture and keep it
separately.
5. Meanwhile, deep-fry the sliced breads until it becomes crispy.
6. Now, take a frying pan, add the butter and sauté it 2 minutes. Now add the olive oil
and stir it for a minute.
7. Pour the tomato mixture that you kept aside now and mix it thoroughly.
8. Stir continuously in low flame for 4 minutes.
9. Dip fried breads into the mixture now and add pepper and salt according to your
taste.
