2. The story takes
place in a green
jungle. The
weather is often
hot and sunny
here and it is
raining
sometimes. It is
never cold and
snowing.

3. Many different animals
live in this jungle:
Good day! I am Dave – the
green crocodile. I have got a
long tail and sharp teeth.
Hi! I am Henry – the
grey elephant. I have
got big ears and a
small tail.

4. Hello! I am Sue – the
red bird. I have two
legs and a long tail.
Hey! I am Ann – the
brown monkey. I have
got got two legs and
two arms.
They are friends and they play together every day.

5. One day friends have a talk:
I can swim very well.
I can run very fast.
You cannot fly and
sing, but I can do it
very well.
Ha-ha-ha!!!
And I can climb
the trees!
They cannot decide who the best animal is.

6. Freddy, the frog, lives in the jungle too. He is
very clever and he says to the animals:
Please, stop! Do not forget that you are
friends and friends usually do not
argue! Every animal is good in its own
way. Let`s go and eat fruit, lollipops and
ice cream! Friends always do this
together!
And the friends do so. Now they are eating sweets
and fruit and they are very glad that they have got
such a wise friend – Freddy, the frog!
