Media education plays an important role in Italian society in several ways:
1) It helps make Italian citizens more socially informed and aware of social services available to them.
2) It allows easy access to government and municipal websites to order or receive benefits and services without waiting in lines.
3) It provides training to social risk groups like former prisoners and orphaned youth to improve their lives and integration into society.
4) The Italian government increasingly funds computer and internet infrastructure to help prevent social issues through media education.

Abstract: the article discussesthe directions of the use of media education for the
developmentof the practice of education and self-educationof representatives of
various social strata. Attention is paid to the use of media education in the field of
cutting-edge industrial technologies.
Key words: media education, Italy, Mariinskaya Academy.
Temperamental and not indifferent to the fate of social initiatives, the Italian people
praised the clear advantages of media education in the field of social sciences. This
directly affects the desire to make their country and its citizens the most socially
informed and protected. And this is understandable. Italy’s huge centuries-old
cultural heritage and close worldwide attention to it make the life of the Italian
Republic an object of intense interest from many countries. In addition, the
achievements in the field of modern science and social development also make a
worthy contribution to the charming appearance of the country, which Italy is seen
by millions of people from different parts of the world who want to visit it as soon as
possible.
All this and much more makes social media education an integral part of Italy's life
and the gradual increase in the awareness of its inhabitants about all kinds of social
services. For example, everyone is able to quickly and in the right amount get an
idea of the material benefits, social privileges available to certain categories of the
population. Thanks to media education, every citizen can access websites of state
and municipal services, which he can order, pay or receive at no cost without
leaving his computer monitor. The catastrophically accelerating pace of life in
3. megacities no longer leaves its residents the opportunity to stand in lines and fill out
paper forms for a long time. Everything is done already thanks to electronic
databases, which are constantly being improved and are gaining the ability to
regularly be enriched with new data about every citizen of the country.
A special, perhaps the most important, direction of social media education in Italy is
work with social risk groups. These include citizens who are in the post-prison stage
of forming their new social status, incomplete and dysfunctional families, orphans
and children left without parental care. Of course, the state has provided the
necessary service packages for data and other similar categories of the population.
But media education helps to create suitable conditions for every citizen to be
sufficientlytrained in the rules for using these services through Internet portals.
The role of media education in the process of social living arrangements for children
and youth is also great. Not all of them have parents or responsible close relatives
who can have a proper influence so that the life path of their nephews and
grandchildren can acquire a trouble-free flow. Therefore, these functions are partly
taken over by the public guardianship and trusteeship service. And in part, a well-
formed computer program for timely training and informing socially vulnerable
groups of the population about how they can improve their lives and the lives of their
loved ones.
It should also be remembered that public and private allocations for the
development of computer and Internet infrastructure are steadily increasing. The
fact is that the state is vitally interested in preventing the maximum number of
possible emergency situations in the zone of social development. It is fundamentally
important for the state that each of its citizens in a timely manner and in the right
amount receive the opportunity for comprehensive harmonious development. And
thereby he could bring maximum benefit to his country. And since media education
plays an important role in this, the appropriations of the government arise precisely
in this direction.
We can conclude that the progressive and timely development of social media
education in Italy will soon solve a much larger number of important social problems.
