3. Introduction
An Integrated Library Management System(ILMS)
is an package of library automation services that
comprises several functions.
These function are usually circulation, acquisitions,
OPAC and cataloguing etc.
An ILMS usually contains a relational database and
software to interact with that database.

5. Objectives
Handle the maintenance of books, resources and member details by a computerized way.
Provide wider access and a search column to search availability of books and information.
Provide online catalogue service and circulation section.
Save time, cost and reduce manpower, duplication of work.
Provide better security service and prepare various types of reports within a short time.

6. Motivation
A Library which is essential in a process of giving citizens access to knowledge.
A well designed library system increases the proficiency of both the librarians and the library
users.
There are a limited number of project in Bangladesh on Library Management which can
overcome problems to manage a library properly.
Build up a system which is cost effective and friendly to the library user.

There is no patron login facility.
There is no scan facility when issue a book.
There is no smart library card to identify accurately.

16. Future Works
In any kind of system there is always chance for its enhancement and extension.
The following features, we may develop in future:
RFID tag or barcode attach with the books and Security
Gates can be included with the system for better security.
Online Reading and downloading facility.
Distributing smart library card with patron login facility.
