Library is the collection of different types of books.
• It provides Books for large number of readers.
• Thus we need web based system for managing the Library.
• Library Management System provides the
systematic handling the records of books and readers.
• Adding new users, books and magazines/newspapers.
• Updating Users, books and magazines/newspapers.
• Deleting Users, books and magazines/newspapers.

Book wise search can be performed.
To record every transaction in computerized system.
To design a user friendly graphical user interface which suit the
user. To save the cost and time.

Drawbacks of existing system
Some of the problems being faced in manual system are
as follows:
Fast report generation is not possible.
Tracing a book is difficult.
Information about issue/return of the books are not
properly maintained.
No central database can be created as information is
not available in database.

Proposed system is an automate library management system
through this software user can add memebers,add
book,search member detail,add books,search book
details,edit information borrow and return book in quick
time.

providing informtion about library activities.
Internet will not be required to use this application.
This project can further be extended by adding the facility
of internet overcome the problem of book stock in library.
