4. How do we use Game Sense?
The Game Sense approach to teaching PDHPE is regarded as the best method
to create significant and relevant learning experiences. It is the primary method
that the PE syllabus is to be delivered. It includes asking the students some of
the following questions to shape their learning.
Why are we doing this?
Can it be done better?
Can you suggest modifications?
What have you learned?
5. Game Sense
Modifying a game of basketball so that all
team member have to touch the ball once
before shooting and scoring.
Modifying a game of volleyball so that all touches
after the initial catch must be self set. Then modify
the game so that the last spike can no longer be
self set.
