3. We should treat everyone like our
brothers and sisters. We should treat other
other people fairly. God created all of us
equally. That is why He also loves us all
equally.
4. Tony was my best friend. I always invite him
over to our house. We play outdoor games after
finishing our homework. Sometimes, he would help
me with my chores.
Like a Brother
5. Tony was a good person. His parents raised him well.
My family and I loved having him around.
One day, I asked him if I could visit him and meet his
family. Tony suddenly felt shy. He told me that they were
poor. They only lived in a small house with no electricity. I
said that it did not matter because we were friends. He has
nothing to be ashamed of because he was a good person.
6. After that, I did not see Tony for two days. I asked my
parents if we could visit Tony. We went to Tony’s house. We
met his mother and father. They were good people just like
Tony. They were honest and kind.
I talked to Tony and told him that it did no matter if he
was rich and poor. What mattered was that he was a kind
person and a good friend.
7. Tony was happy to hear that I regarded him as a
friend even though he was poor. I told him that my
parents taught me to treat everyone fairly and kindly
regardless of what they look like, or whether they are
rich or poor. In God’s eyes, we are all the same. We
are all His children.
8. Always remember the following:
• Being fair means accepting everybody, regardless of who or
what they are.
• Being fair to everyone pleases God.
• God loves each one of us. He treats us equally. We are all
special to Him.
• We should be fair to everybody.
• We should respect other people’s beliefs.
