Review of the survey on the final landscape photographs of salford quays
1. Review of the Survey on the Final LandscapePhotographsof Salford Quays
I asked ‘ did you think whilst looking at these photographs, they were all up to a
professional standard?’
YES: 8
NO: 3
SOME: 6
I am pleased with the feedback of this question as most people who tookpart in my
survey answered yes to the professionalism of my photographs. However six 6 some
were, to improve this questions feedback I could of asked which ones the publicthought
weren’t 100% up to a professional standard.
I asked ‘Out of all of the photographs which do you think is the most appealing, and
advertises Salford Quays well? Pick only one answer.’
I then gave all the photographs numbers, and number7 turned out to be the most
successful with most votes. The picture was of the right side of the Lowry Theatre.
This result surprised me as I thought a different photograph
I took would have been chosen. This photograph received 6
votes alongside all the other photos which only got 3/2
votes.
I then asked ‘Out of all the photographs taken which advertises Salford Quays the least’
picture number 3 was voted for this question. This photo was of a man stood near a bus
that was being advertised near salford quays. I completely agree with this feedback as
there is nothing in the photograph that would advertise Salford Quays.
I then asked what was the publics opinion on the editing on a whole. I gave a variety of
words to describe the photos these were the words I provided:
- Excellent = 4 VOTES
- Poor = 1 VOTE
- High Quality = 5 VOTES
- Low Quailty = 1 VOTE
- Attractive = 5 VOTES
- Unappealing = 1 VOTE
High Quailty and Attractive were the most voted words within this question, I am very
pleased with the feedback on this question as the pictures were high quailty as they were
taken by a professional camera. Also I tried my best to make them look attractive and eye
catching to my audience.
The Last question I asked was ‘If you have/haven’t visted Salford Quays, would these
photographs encourage you to visit?’
YES: 14
NO: 3
I am pleased with the feedback of this question as nearly all of the people who took part
in this questionaire would now visit salford quays.
