Life is Beautiful tells the story of a Jewish Italian bookshop owner named Guido who is interned in a Nazi concentration camp during World War II. To protect his son Joshua from the horrors of the Holocaust, Guido convinces Joshua that their imprisonment is part of an elaborate game where the grand prize is a tank.
