Flash Cards are large sized picture cards/word cards and are flashed at a planned frequency. Human being learns the whole first and then the details, so we have 25 different categories of cards like animals, birds, flags etc. Once they are thorough with these cards, we move into its classification like animals in cold region, herbivorous animals, carnivorous animals etc. After picture cards, lots of word cards are flashed which is followed by sentence reading using those word cards.And this is how reading begins.

2. ‘FLASH CARDS’
 They are large sized picture cards/word cards.
 Human being learns the whole first and then the details.
 Like, as kids we always remembered elephant as whole
and not by its trunk, tusks or small tail.
 More than 300 cards covered throughout the year.
 Like short advertisements, children love seeing flash
cards and remember it easily.

3. Using ‘FLASH CARDS’
 25 cards each of different categories, like animals, fruits,
flags etc. depending on the class.
 Cards flashed at specific frequency, 1 card per second.
 Each card flashed 3 times a day for 7 days.
 Each card flashed 21 times so that any child can absorb.
 Cards flashed to groups of 3-4 children to ensure
attention.

4. Using ‘FLASH CARDS’
 Same cards re-introduced in form of stories, read-aloud,
maps, etc. which converts their information to knowledge.
 Picture cards are followed by word cards.
 Word cards are then followed by sentence reading, using
flash cards.
 Sentences then form a part of books designed specially
for Lumens.
