1. Amy Winehouse
Her life
Intro
Amy Winehouse was born on the 14th of September 1983 and the 24th of
September 2018 I watched a BBC documentary on her life, the question that
was asked was "who is responsible for her death?" I believe that there are
many different reasons and multiple people should share blame, the best
way I can describe her life is an inspector calls, this is a book about how
every person in a family had all contributed to the death of this girl, in the
book without realising it the different things the family did affected the girls
life without them realising it and eventually it lead to her death, each person
responsible doesn't realise it either because they are arrogant or not willing
to except it, the difference between the documentary and an inspector calls
is in an inspector calls the girl is innocent but in the documentary I hold
Amy herself just as accountable if not more so than every one else. let me
explain.
The Father
To start with the farther like an inspector calls I shall start by saying that he
is responsible out of ignorance and neglect. Ignorance is because he refuses
to except that there is anything wrong with her, instead, he for an example
tells her not to go to rehab causing her to go further down the hole of
despair. like a child that is desperate for there parents to tell them they don't
need something they do, Amy is the child in this scenario and instead of
being a responsible father he chose to feed her delusional state by telling her
she didn't need to go to rehab, this was a big error early on in her short life.
Unfortunately this was only part of her father’s errors. Towards the end of
Amy's life her farther started to milk her fame using it to become known
himself, using her to make money for himself. This shows that her father’s
use of her could have led to her choices that then led to her death.
The Mother
Although the mothers affects wasn't as big as the neglect from the father,
although her lack of awareness to army as a teenager impacted how she
grew, let me explain. In the documentary it shows that when Amy was a
teenager she said to the mum: "I have the perfect diet, I eat what I want then
I bring it back up" to anyone this is an indication to bulimia but the mother
discards it and this leaves Amy to constantly do it never told she cant, this is
no excuse for her doing it as an adult but the mothers lack of awareness
certainly put her on the path to damaging her body.
2. Her Friends
She had multiple friends some that she cast away and friends that where a
terrible influence on what she did and how she turned out, although they
claimed they tried to stop her. Her friends at the beginning was taking drugs
and drinking lots alcohol and they inevitably set her on the path to keep
doing it. This impacted her and got her addicted and also leads onto the next
part.
Her Managers
Amy had different managers in her career she had her main manager which
was her second manager and it was earlier in her life, this manager was
helpful in her later life trying to swing her away from drugs, get in rehab
and get her help. however it is revealed in a clip he sent in that from her life
before she was famous they was both taking drugs. one could argue that this
is what sparked her addiction and that her need started at this point, if her
manager/ friend was with her and she was influenced by it he could share
blame as he was apart of events that lead her to downfall. Her other
managers from the documentary didn't seem to care on a personal level of
her life and so through lack of acknowledge share some blame in her death.
Her Boyfriend
A guy named Blake, it appeared that in her early life before fame he cheated
on his girlfriend consistently with Amy Winehouse, on top of that it appears
that he set her out on taking class A drugs and drinking non stop, to them it
was somehow a lifestyle. things took a turn when Blake decided to stop
cheating on his girlfriend, breaking Amy's heart even though she was fully
aware at the time that he already had a girlfriend and yet stayed with him
anyway, this caused Amy to take more drugs and take more alcohol which
overtime had negative affects on her immune system add that on her bulimic
impacts on her body. Blake from what we could see was a huge reason for
her depression and shares a big part of responsibility in her death.
Herself
The biggest person to blame is herself, to plead that she didn't know what
she was do doing or that it wasn't her fault. she didn't wake up one day with
someone inject her with
