• Oversaw federal projects that resulted in the recovery of more than 20,000 gallons of
hazardous petroleum products in the Puget Sound
• Routinely partnered with WA State Department of Ecology, National Oceanic and
Atmospheric Administration, and local fire departments in response to sunken vessels, boat
fires, and all other unexpected maritime mishaps
• Regularly monitored contracted response companies for environmental, health and safety
