What is a Traineeship?
Our Health and Social Care traineeship is an education and training
programme with work experience that is designed to give young people, aged
16-24, crucial skills and experience that Employers are looking for.
With Traineeships, businesses can help develop the next generation of
employees, equipping young people with the personal and practical skills
required in the Health and Social care sector.

2. What training is included in the programme?

Week 1 & 2 – We will fully prepare your trainee for their placement in your
business by completing a full induction working towards a Care Certificate.
This will include safeguarding, health and safety, infection control,
medication, recording skills, dementia awareness, equality & diversity along
with other essential employability skills.
Week 3 to 9 – Is when the trainee will undertake the placement in your
business (3 days per week) whilst undertaking training in employability and
functional skills.
Week 10 – On the final week the trainee will complete their final exams along
with 2 days on placement.
