2. I’ve always been very fond of computers and when I
had to decide on which professional path to follow I
decided instantly. As soon as I saw how programming
was I knew it was the right way and started college to
study Systems Engineering in Cuba. I’m really happy
with my choice!
Why did you choose to
study software?

3. The infinite possibilities that cross-platform
development with Flutter offers such as making
beautiful interfaces, lightweight applications, and
integrations with almost anything. Flutter can go as far
as your imagination goes.
What do you like the
most about Flutter?

4. Compatibility! You don't notice a difference between
what you do for iOS or Android. I've worked with other
cross-platform frameworks that show differences in
size and density.
In addition, these frameworks have more restrictions
regarding components and widgets. Oppositely, Flutter
is the king of widgets which makes development
more agile and fluid.
What is the biggest difference
with other similar frameworks
you’veworked with?

5. The success of an app depends almost 80% on its
interfaces. They must be super intuitive, engaging,
simple to use, fast, and most importantly, users must
like them. You can make an app with very good
features but if it doesn’t have good interfaces, users
don’t use them.
What are the biggest
challenges of working
on the Front-End of
an application?

6. Every day is a challenge. We work on modern and
disruptive projects with the latest technologies in the
market which means we are constantly learning and
improving. It’s very motivating to see how much I
learn a day and the huge professional growth I’ve
experienced.
What is it like working
at Somnio?

7. The schedule is flexible so you can organize your own
hours. We need to synchronize for dailies and meeting
with clients but the remaining hours can be managed
at your own convenience.
I really enjoy being able to manage my own times, it’s
very comfortable and adjustable. The software world
needs that, if you're stuck you can take a break and
come back with a fresher head.
