5. The Spirit of Lifeplus events are Lifeplus’s
main flagship gatherings. They bring
together thousands of associates from
around the world for a celebration of their
unique community and achievements!
Everything was bigger and better with
numbers growing from 5000 to 7000 for
Saturdays conference and exhibition.
The evening events included a three course
gala dinner for 950 guests and a buffet
dinner for 2800 people for the end of the
event party.
Tickets went onsale in February and sold
out in under 7hrs! Due to the popular
demand, new for 2015, the event was
streamed live over the internet to help
people that missed out on tickets.
The theme this year was “Journey of
Transformation” this acted as the thread to
the event and inspiration to the look and
feel.
The show kicks off with a Friday
recognition event where associates are
invited to be recognised on stage for
their achievements. We created a large
stage for 250 people and large projection
screen with lighting and sound to create a
celebratory atmosphere. Background music
is played during the welcome reception
and after the first wave of achievements
a three course meal is served with
complimentary drinks. The band is then
back on stage at the end of the awards to
get people into the party atmosphere with
a DJ after 23:00 until the early hrs.
Saturday features presentations from 9
speakers, including the business founders
and over 150 awards being given out on
stage and was presented to an audience
of over 7000 attendees from 12 different
countries. People are able to explore the
6. new and larger exhibition at lunch where
the theme of “Journey of Transformation”
is brought to life in the larger and more
interactive exhibition area. This consisted
of everything from laughter yoga classes,
cooking presentations and a chance to
try your hand at conducting a four piece
orchestra. Lunch was also served to more
that 3500 delegates within the two hour
break.
Other zones included a Foundation area for
the Lifeplus charity, a merchandising area
where delegates could purchase Lifeplus
branded items and a ‘meet the experts’
area where delegates can discuss with
experts on how they found their success.
A large central quiet zone was designed
to create an area where people can
reflect on the event and chat with like
minded people. The synthetic grass, cloud
projected cone and ceiling enhanced the
desired look and feel.
Saturday evening was the event party
which accommodated 2900 guests.
Entertainment included a 9 piece live
band and DJ, keeping people dancing until
3am. We even included a separate cocktail
lounge at the far end of the hall to act as
a breakaway zone.
Nest designed and managed the entire
event whilst always supporting the
client and with the show message and
strategy in mind. We controlled the
budget throughout and managed all
suppliers including catering, production
management, video, audio, web streaming,
lighting, rigging, logistics and delegate
traffic management, security and
photography to name but a few.
Overall this ensured this years Spirit of
Lifeplus was the best yet.
