This document provides guidance for students on developing ideas for dance technique and digital performance works. It suggests considering themes, emotions, experiences, symbols, physical elements, and technical frameworks to inspire ideas. Students are prompted to explore visual elements, locations, objects, colors, music, and sound. The document offers starting points such as intentions, previous works, movements, or issues/concerns. Students are asked to generate title suggestions and engage in stream-of-consciousness writing. Keywords, movements, use of space, dynamics, and relationships should be analyzed to develop the idea. A programme note of 200-400 words should concisely describe the core idea, look, structure, and credits.
