This letter is to serve as my personal recommendation for Lorraine King. I was her manager
for several years and found her to be consistently pleasant, tackling all assignments with
dedication and a smile. She has been interested in advancing her education for some time
and I feel that she would be an excellent candidate for your program.
During the time in which we worked together, Lorraine consistently demonstrated a strong
work ethic and a dedication to success. Her efforts produced high quality results time and
time again. While Lorraine did report to me for a length of time, she was also in a leadership
role as a supervisor. She was an effective communicator, often serving as my liaison to other
colleagues and direct reports. She often coordinated projects involving numerous people,
and her ability to work collaboratively while guiding projects quickly and effectively was
outstanding. Many of her co-workers sought her advice and support. Lorraine was always
there for them and is quite comfortable in leadership roles.
Besides being a joy to work with, Lorraine is a take-charge person who is able to present
creative ideas and communicate the benefits. She was an asset to my department and was
extraordinarily helpful in other areas across company lines.
Lorraine’s sensitivity, diligence, energy and sense of humor made working with her a joy. I
highly recommend her as a welcome addition to your program.
