1. Demonstrative Pronouns
-- points out a noun. The
demonstrative pronouns are
that, this, these, and
those.

2. Examples
• This is a good idea.
• These are pretty dolls.
• Those are hilarious.
• That is a bad result.

3. Interrogative Pronoun
- a pronoun that is used in a
question. It helps to ask about
something. These pronouns are
what, which, who, whom, and
compound words ending in “ever”,
such as whatever, whichever,
whoever, and whomever.

4. Examples
•What is that beautiful
thing?
•Who ate the last piece of
the cake?

5. Indefinite Pronoun
-- refers to an indefinite, or general,
person, or thing. It includes all, any,
both, each, everyone, anyone,
everything, anything, everybody,
anybody, few, neither, either, none,
nothing, several, some, someone,
something, and somebody.

6. Examples
• Something smells good.
• Many like to dance.
• Everyone has the right to be
loved.

7. Relative Pronouns
-- introduces a clause, or
part of a sentence, that
describes a noun. These are
that, which, who, and
whom.

8. Examples
•You should bring the book
that you love the most.
•Hector is a photographer
who does great work.
