1. the P5000cannot monitorribbon usage, therefore users often exceed the acceptable ribbon EOL
resulting in print that is of poorquality. The model estimates a $25burdened cost perincident.
2. The P7000ribbon life monitoring system ensures that everyribbon will be used to the optimal ribbon
life, eliminating the costs associated with premature ribbon replacements. The model estimates that
