Re: Lois Barnes,PMP
To Whom It May Concern:
I am pleased to be able to provide this Reference Letter on behalf of my colleague, Lois Barnes.
Lois has been an integral part of my project team at Catholic Health Initiatives (CHI) team for many
years. She joined my team as a Program Coordinator and quickly moved into a Project Management role.
In her PM role, she led a number of critical projects including efforts in cancer registry, EHR billing,
clinic automation, and data capture and trending. Her strong leadership included managing multiple teams
(Information Technology, Clinical, Executive, Applications) and bringing them together for successful
outcomes. Lois has never faltered in these efforts and has always produced a successfuloutcome for
CHI’s stakeholders and customers.
In addition to Lois’ abilities in managing projects from a logistical perspective (scope, schedule, budget),
she understands deeply the art of project management as well. This is represented by her strong ability to
work with others, read voices/body language, and guide conversations resulting in strong, collaborative,
cooperative, and positive project environments.
Finally, Lois is detail oriented, a driver, and is focused on getting things done – a key trait for a solid
Project Manager. Therefore,I would recommend Lois, very highly, for any role encompassing the
activities described above.
