BAJA TASTE, A DOCUMENTARY FOR THE FOODIES’ SOUL, SCREENING AT THE 23RD ANNUAL SAN DIEGO LATINO
FILM FESTIVAL
SAN DIEGO.- Get ready to savor the culinary delights of Baja California in the documentary Baja Taste, screening at
the 23rd San Diego Latino Film Festival, presented by Fashion Valley, set to take place March 10-20 at AMC Fashion
Valley 18.
The film, directed by Roberto Nájera, documents the gastronomic sensation of Baja Californian cuisine by following
four seasoned chefs as they explore their inspiration for creating this soulful new style of Mexican dishes which has
reached nationwide and international news.
This incredible documentary, starring chefs Miguel Ángel Guerrero, Oso Campos, Diego Hernandez and Javier
Plascencia will open your eyes (and stomachs) to a whole new world. These talented men are the utmost experts
behind what has been trademarked as Baja-Med cuisine: an innovative blend of not only Mexican, but also
Mediterranean and Italian influences and flavors. Each with their individual and unique journeys leading to their
success, they are revolutionizing our appetites and expanding our palettes.
Chef Hernández alone is the owner of a restaurant that was named one of the 50 best restaurants in Latin
America, according to theworlds50best.com.
The vivid colors of the Baja Californian produce, scenic visuals of the city, and overall cinematography of the film
paint a beautiful and clear picture of the Baja story.
