PERIOD KHERSON REGIONAL
LIBRARY WAS USED BY
OCCUPANTS. THEY HAVE
STOLEN ALL THE TECHNICAL
KINDS OF STUFFS
(COMPUTERS, PRINTERS AND
OTHER OFFICE MACHINES),
STOLED VALUABLE BOOKS
AND MANUSCRIPTS.
THE LIBRARY BUILDING WAS
MINED.
10. Fund of pre-revolutionary, pre-war and
post-war publications.
Rare editions of the 18th century.
Miniature editions: the smallest book
measuring 17×20 mm «Лучше всяких
лекарств, пития да явств» (Better than
any medicine, drink and food), a
collection of proverbs published in
Moscow in 1975.
Books with autographs of Oles Honchar,
historian Yevhen Tarle, writers: Mykola
Bazhan, Yakiv Bash, Chingiz Aitmatov.
The collection of foreign editions of the
Ukrainian diaspora includes rare editions of
the works of Taras Shevchenko, Mykola
Kulish, Yevhen Malanyuk and others.

THEY USED THEM FOR
PROPAGANDA TV SHOWS.
12. Kherson Regional Universal Scientific Library
named after Oles Honchar is one of the biggest
regional libraries in Ukraine. There were
publications in 45 world languages. The library’s
book storage is designed to store 1 million 200
thousand volumes.

named after Oles Honchar is the cultural and
science center for the region and the support
center for the libraries of Kherson.
15. 6 June,
the Russians blew up the Kakhovka Hydroelectric Power Plant. The station
cannot be restored, and experts from all relevant fields continue to analyze the
situation, measuring the extent of the destruction and damage caused. It's a huge
environmental catastrophe. It's ecocide.
16. KHERSON CITY AND KHERSON REGION WERE FLOODED.
THOUSANDS of PEOPLE AND ANIMALS WERE KILLED CAUSED RUSSIANS
HAD DESTROYED DAMB.
TONS OF WATER HAD DESTROYED CULTURAL HERITAGE, RURAL
LIBRARIES AND UNIQUE CULTURE LAYERS.
