This three-day hands-on course on computer-guided surgeries will take place December 4-6, 2013 at Georgia Regents University. Day 1 will include presentations and workshops on planning virtual surgeries using 3D software. Day 2 and 3 will involve live surgeries on patients, with time for reviewing scans and planning in the mornings and simultaneous surgeries in the afternoons. The course is limited to 30 doctors, with operating doctors performing surgeries on two of their own patients and observing doctors observing multiple procedures. The course aims to train dentists on computer-guided implant placement.
