SOFT SKILLS PROFILE
• Communication
I have a good communication skill, including good verbal and non-verbal
communications, and I listen effectively, present my ideas appropriately, write clearly
and concisely.
• Planning and Organizing
No matter in work or in my personal life, I usually plan and organize myself well in
order to get things done effectively and efficiently, e-calendars and stick notes are
always helpful to break tasks down, prioritize and remind myself to take actions.
• Teamwork
I see myself as a good team worker. If I am a team leader, I normally plan the
schedule for project and then communicate the plan, responsibility and
accountability in advance, try to facilitate every member to work for a same target. If
I am a team member, I would try my best to cooperate with other members and
reflect issues timely to members or to leader, hard working and effective
communication are the two essential success factors in team work.
• Problem-solving
All problems have two features in common: goals and barriers. Effective problem
solving usually involves working through a number of steps or stages, I usually will first
identify the nature of the problem and gather facts. Then look for possible solutions,
evaluate, and make decisions. Finally, take actions. During each steps, if I really need
help, I would seek relevant people for help timely before the problem goes worse.
• Technology
I am interested in all kinds of new technologies, and I regard myself as a fast learner,
especially in technology aspects.
• Lifelong Learning
learning is a lifelong process, especially in IT field. I would spend spare time to get
relevant qualifications, which is also a learning process. Moreover, I would take
advantage of training, coaching or mentoring opportunities and work on my
continuous professional development.
