1956 - Diploma of Ceramics, Mosman Evening College
1961 - 69 Teacher of Ceramics, Mosman Evening College
1969 - 72 Teacher of Arts and Ceramics, Church of England
Boys Grammar School, North Sydney.
1970 – 1980 Opened “Studio 52A” in Mosman, NSW. Ceramics
Teaching School.
1974 Commissioned to reproduce 700 pieces of 18th
And 19th
century pottery for Old Sydney Town at Gosford,
NSW.
Commissioned to reproduce period jug and basin sets for Old
Government House, Parramatta.
1975 – 1978 President of the Ceramic (antique) Collectors Society in Sydney.
1975 Invited by Jesse McNab to study antique pottery and porcelain
at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York and also studied
Chinese porcelain with the curator at the time.
1978 Study tour of the Sevres factory in Paris, and at the Royal
Copenhagen Porcelain Factory in Copenhagen, Denmark.
1981 Moved to Tyalgum, Northern New South Wales and established
the Bakehouse Pottery.
1986 Studied Antique Chinese Porcelain while making a film in China,
Hong Kong and Macau.
1989 Represented in the Gold Coast Ceramic Award in Surfers paradise
With a work titled “Earth, Sea & Sky”, a ceramic sound sculpture.
1990 Represented in the Gold Coast National Ceramic Award with a
work titled “ Cage Follie”, a bird cage.
1990 Ceramic sound sculpture titled “Song of Wollumbin” acquired

1991 Represented in the Gold Coast National Ceramic Award with a
work titled “Kaled-es-kopae”, a ceramic kaleidescope.
1992 Exhibition “Ding Dong Merrily on High” at the Bakehouse Pottery
in Tyalgum.
1992 Represented in an joint exhibition at the Tweed Regional Gallery.
- 5 local craft persons.
1993 Opened the new gallery “Bakehouse Pottery and Galleria Artisans”
at Tyalgum.
