7. Legend says that Finn MacCool was in an argument with a giant by the name of
Benandonner in Scotland and they made a bridge to fight. Scared of the other
giant, Finn hid in his “wee wean’s” crib. When Benandonner came looking for
Finn, he said “If this is the size of the wean, I don’t want to see the size of the
father!” and fled back to Scotland.
These stones that resemble pavers are actually naturally made by lava-flow.

25. I was able to tour the amazing lyric
theatre with Philip Crawford
Kelli Jo and I also had
an amazing tour of the
city of Belfast!
26. Ulster Hall
The famous concert and presentation hall in
Belfast. It had one of the most amazing pipe
organs I’ve ever seen!
27. Maynard speaking at the Rogers’ family
reunion. He has so many amazing stories,
knows so much about history, and is an
amazing orator!
28. The entire group had the amazing opportunity to visit the Belfast
Titanic museum. A multi-million dollar facility, it houses the history of
belfast as a linen mill town, a 3-D tour of what the Titanic would have
looked like, replicas of the rooms, a ride that flies you through the
titanic as it’s being built, the telegrams as the Titanic sunk, survivor
and victim stories, and the exploration of the underwater wreck.
30. The Titanic Museum also has a special
exhibit hall, which housed the Game
of Thrones Exhibit! As a costume
designer, I had a lot of fun seeing all
of the amazing costumes from the hit
television series. I also was able to sit
on the Iron Throne! What power!
31. Home to the beautiful Book
of Kells (as well as other
amazing old Books) and the
Long Room Library. Maybe I
will get the change to study
here someday!
32. Scottish
Dancing
with
Michelle
Johnson
Kelli Jo and I had the
pleasure to spend the day
with Michelle, a Scottish
Dancing teacher employed
by the Ulster Scots, as she
spent the day teaching
school children some
traditional dances! It was so
much fun to participate!

Thanks to the St. Patrick Centre and the
