ARTIST’S STATEMENT “I believe that Calligraphy is both an Art and a
Lifetime’s work. My first teacher was Donald Jackson in 1984 - I am still in
contact with him. My mentor for 25 years until his death, Dr Lawrence Chan,
introduced me to Chinese Calligraphy Painting Seal Carving and Philosophy. I
currently mix Western and Eastern styles and believe that because I work with
words I must believe that I have something to say….And I must keep on trying to
fulfil the potential that is mine. My Exhibitions Speech of the Gods and She
Dreamt… are part of what I am bringing forth. There is more to come…….
