Ecclesiastes 3:12 (KJV) I know that there is no good in them, but for a man to rejoice, and to do good in his life.

1. Genesis 39:3
And his master saw that the LORD was with him, and he made him
overseer over his house, and all that he had he put into his hand.
STEWARDSHIP BRINGS PROSPERITY

2. OBSERVATION
 Joseph master (ruler, dominant, chief, controlling)saw
that the LORD was with him.
◦ When you are serving with a spirit of wiliness in all you do for
the building of the kingdom of God upon the earth people will
see something different about your servitude.
◦ Joseph look up to his master; he honor, respect the office he
held and the LORD also honor his pray, wiliness to serve his
master without complaining or murmuring behind his back;
Joseph receive favor from the LORD and his master realize the
LORD was with him.

3. OVERSEER OF ALL HIS MASTER OWED
 Joseph was made (created, prepared, complete,
finished, ended)overseer over his house.
◦ Joseph was created to be a good steward; over what he
was put in charge of!
◦ Joseph was prepared, building his relationship with the
LORD that he obtain favor with God and Man.
◦ Joseph knew the Time and Season, being a steward over a
few things the master trust in his care was over. Now he
was promoted to overseer (supervisor, manager,
administrator, chief and boss)

4. OVERSEER OF ALL HIS MASTER OWED
 The good work God begun in Joseph was completed,
finished.
 Joseph was now fulfilling his purpose for what God
created him for and living out his Destiny upon the
earth.

5. TRUST
 Joseph master trusted him; he put him through a
test; just like the LORD he allows us to be tested but
doesn’t tempt us.
 Joseph was a servant to all
 Joseph had a willing spirit
 Joseph serve with a cheerful heart
 Joseph took all his cares to the LORD
 Joseph was faithful over what his master entrusted him with and
received the favor of God that ultimately brought favor with man

6. And the LORD was with Joseph, and he was a
prosperous man; and he was in the house of his
master the Egyptian.
 Why was the LORD with Joseph?
 How was the LORD with Joseph?
 When was the LORD with Joseph?
 What was the LORD doing with Joseph?

7. GOD IS ALL YOU NEED!
 The LORD was with Joseph it was very clear to all!
◦ Nine fruits of the spirit Galatians 5:22
 Love – all man-kind
 Joy – in the LORD
 Peace – tranquility innerman
 Longsuffering – waiting period but serving
 Gentleness – kind, mild, quiet and a calmness in his spirit that God the
Father was with him
 Goodness – well behaved; a good example of God the Father
 Faith – to believe God the Father for the outcome of good and not of evil
without seeing it manifested yet.

8. QUESTION
 WHY DO YOU THINK FAITH WAS THE LAST FRUIT
OF THE SPIRIT GIVEN?
◦ Because if Joseph (we) can receive the other eight
attributes faith is just believe its done already!
◦ CONFIDENCE – BELIEF

9. PROSPEROUS MAN
 Joseph became a prosperous man in the house of his
master.
◦ WHY?
 He serve with all of his heart, mind and soul
 He did it with a wiliness of heart
 He took all his cares to God not man (master)
 He was a good steward over what was entrusted into his care
 He received a promotion because of his ability to follow a LEADER
and was able to receive INSTRUCTION from that MASTER.

10. IN THE HOUSE OF HIS MASTER THE
EGYPTIAN
 Joseph was in a strange place but, never the less he
took ownership of the place.
 Joseph saw an opportunity to bring about change to
the MASTER’S HOUSE; not his own agenda but the
LEADER VISION.
 Joseph stood out from the crowd because of his
wiliness to serve without looking for special privilege
given to him by the MASTER
 Because of Joseph relationship with God the Father
he receive more than he expected
